Riot Grrl stuff
I'm highly doubtful that there is gonna be many people on here who like the riot grrl bands, Hole, L7,7 Year Bitch etc. But I really like it. I know it's probably the "Female teen" thing to do, but who gives a shit. Actually maybe stipe's love child likes it, and maybe I can count Emmy in for a bit of Hole, hehe.
Actually, i know one person who really digs it. Memster!!! Courtney Love is her favourtist person ever.  She even wrote a song about her!

i think courtney love totally rocks!! i love the way that she gets what she wants, and wont give up till she gets it..but still seems to be a good mother to francis bean. I love her music and how she dosnt change it too be what the majority likes but how she likes...i just think she rocks! i also like veruca salt abit aswell...i do prefer REM and Radiohead to it but i gotta admit that Hole bridged the gap!! i LOVe celebrity Skin!!

Hole is cool, but most riot grrrl bands kinda piss me off--it's like the singers are trying as hard as possible to sing as badly as possible, just for the sake of doing it.
But Hole is good, Courtney Love is very cool, I respect her. And like I've said, Sleater-Kinney is great--the singer is really crazy, her voice just does the most amazing things. |

Actually, I do like Hole and L7. Well, I used to like L7 but not anymore. L7 is simply...too nasty for my liking. I mean, they act all mean and tuff and well, er, like..."B's" (you know what I'm referring to). Now, Hole on the other hand is absolutely...wild! This band has shown that it can compete w/the music trends of the moment and still manage to stay alive and hellooooo....they even outlasted such girl bands like "Vixon" and the punk rocker/metal girlie herself..."Leta Ford." I give Hole a lot of credit for staying strong and for not being afaid of change, which of course, is the reason why they're still here in the "dog eat dog" world of music!

Cool-o-rama. I do know what you mean about them trying to sing badly, but some of them are ok. But I just can't stand Courtney Love clones. I mean, Kat Bjelland is ok, but she tries to be Courtney. Hmm...
